I cannot believe how quickly the last month has gone... its time for our second showcase of Pixie sites. Before we get started I want to say thanks to everyone who has downloaded Pixie, in one month we have had over 1200 downloads and the feedback we have received has been excellent. Our main priorities for the next release are to improve the language support (and the available language packs) and to provide you with more themes, plugins and modules. If there is anything you would particularly like to see us work on then post a comment on this post or to the forums, the same goes if you want your site showcased next month.

May site showcase
Each month we will be showcasing nicely designed sites running Pixie. Even though Pixie only launched a few days ago we have already been sent a number of links to sites powered by Pixie, its good to see that people are able to create complete websites so quickly. So here it is, the very first Pixie showcase...

Pixie goes forth
Pixie is launched! After a long time in development we finally have version 1 ready. I would like to say thanks to all of the beta testers who have been finding bugs in Pixie for the last few weeks. Since beta testing we have improved quite a bit of the code and updated the themes. Some of the new additions include:
- Twitter block.
- Dynamic page pagination and next/previous posts.
- Portuguese language.
- Temporary lockout after three failed login attempts for extra security.
- A contact form module.
- and plenty of bug fixes.
We have been working hard to get this site ready to coincide with the May 1st Reboot. We hope you like Pixie and we are looking forward to your feedback.
