We thought it would be good to compile a list of the latest Pixie reviews together for those of you looking to find out more about Pixie. Here is what we have found (both the good and the bad):
CMS Critic - Top 5 CMS Choices for the Complete Beginner
Not only is it user friendly and fun to use, the interface is attractive and while new, it looks like it has tons of potential.
CMS Wire - Make content management easier with Pixie CMS
All in all, Pixie’s web CMS looks to meet up to its claims of being an easy to use, easy to install, lightweight open source web CMS - or as they call it, “a small, simple website maker.”
Will they be a name to watch for in upcoming web CMS competitions? It may be too early to tell, but they are certainly a CMS option to keep an eye on.
Here are my main grips: 1. Placing images in a post or page requires multiple unintuitive steps. 2. Lacks a paste from Word feature. 3. Placing any media other than images require xHTML skills. 4. Not many plug-ins or modules.
Softpedia - Pixie Website Maker
The website administration panel is very intuitive, allowing nontechnical people to manage the website content without much effort.
